2Stone was lucky enough to have a good friend and fan notice our trademark signature and tip us off. On Page 40 of the 2012 Spring Edition you will find a photo of our sink as well as a close up of our signature.

Although we were not directly named in the article, and I quote “A main-floor bathroom has the personal stamp on the Porters and the  Calgary concrete artists who created the sink…”, we here at 2stone still think its worth a post on our site and a pat on the back. A big thanks to Alison for letting us know, we are so pleased to hear that our 2Stone signature has become so recognizable out there!

Well we here at the 2Stone Studio have the answer, a one of a kind custom concrete coffee tables (and benches) from our “Board and Block” collection. These pieces are the floor models from the Calgary Home and Garden show. They have since been brought back to the studio and refinished.

We are also still offering our Home Show discount of all new furniture orders placed before March 2, 2012. We have had a great response to this offer so contact the studio soon to get your project started.

This collection is inspired by “Beer Haus”, mixing a super refined concrete top with custom made and stained industrial pallets.

We are super excited to let you know that we have some Custom 2Stone Concrete Furniture on display at the Calgary Home and Garden Show this weekend.  Aly of Aly Velji Designs requested our “Board and Block” collection to decorate the “Beer Haus Lounge” located in the Corral.

We have 4 coffee tables (one seen above in the studio getting finishing touches), 2 side tables, a long bench(as seen below), and 3 Knotty benches on display at the show. All are for sale at a discounted show price that is labelled on the pieces. Please contact the studio to put a deposit on any piece you are interested in.

2Stone Designer Concrete is also offering a 15% Home Show Discount to any furniture orders placed on or before March 02, 2012.  Please contact the Studio to make arrangements or to make an appointment to come by, check out our new showroom and discuss your project.  Whether you are a client who knows exactly what you want or a client who has ideas and needs help executing them, we would be happy to help.  You don’t have to attend the show to take advantage of the offer.

For those of you who have been to our studio, I’m sure that the old vinyl yellow wallpaper didn’t instill much confidence in our design advice. Thankfully the wallpaper has been replaced by fresh white walls, the old flood tiles pulled up, the drop ceiling is gone, and what was once 2 tiny rooms is now one large-ish open space.

We are now hard at work furnishing the space with our own designs. These include a curtain wall, chalk board surround, design table, and custom desk, as well as display areas for our new line of furniture.

The condo is now complete and on the market for sale. They are having an open house this week Friday November 4 from 5-9pm and Sunday November 6 from 2-6pm. Stop by the check out some amazing craftsman ship throught out, the worlds coolest custom built in cappacino machine, and jaw dropping views.
